Passed away peacefully on 5th December 2008

Aged 69 years

Loved Husband of Charmian, Loved Brother of Jane

Family, Friends and Club Members are invited to attend Nigel’s Funeral Service to be held at Gregson & Weight’s Chapel, 26 Wises Road Maroochydore, on Thursday 11th December 2008 commencing at 11.00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Qld Cancer Council or Camp Quality would be appreciated.

Passing of Past Club President Nigel Quinsee

Dear Club Members,

The Executive Committee of the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club regret to announce the passing of Life Member Nigel Quinsee after a long battle with cancer.

Nigel was a past President of the Club for four years and held numerous executive committee positions.

In 2001, he was not only President buttook on the roles of Car Classic Chairman and Hill Climb Chairman.Nigel, together with his wife Charmiane, were very active club members for 11 years.

Our thoughts and condolences go to Charmiane, Nigel will be sadly missed by his friends at the Club.

Cards may be sent to 64 Gloucester Road Buderim 4556 and funeral arrangements will be announced in the Sunshine Coast Daily early next week.

Christmas Dinner

Noosa Beach Classic Car Club Christmas Dinner.
Join us for the last event of the year with a night of good food, great company and entertainment.
The venue this year will be the newly renovated Trios on the River. The restaurant is now fully air-conditioned, carpeted, private function room and of course the great river views.

Date:Wednesday 10th December
Place: Trios on the River, Noosa Marina
Time: 6.30pm
Cost: $45 Members, $50 Non Members.

Nominations closed 5th November 2008 – being the only nomination for that position, no other nomination will be taken after the closing date, and that person accepting the nomination, will be duly elected at the AGM. Should more than one nomination be received by the closing date for the same position a vote at the AGM will determine the successful nominee. Should there be no nominations received by the closing date then nominations will be taken from the floor at the AGM.

Noosa Historic "The Hill" 15 & 16 November

Calling for helpers for "The Hill"As the saying goes many hands make for light work. If you have some spare time on the weekend of "The Hill" come along and lend a hand. You don't have to into motor sport to help. People are needed to help arrange the parking, man the entry and road gates, Look after the members tent and VIP area, So even if it is only for a hour or two come along sign in and lend a hand.
